Job summary

Archdiocese of Los Angeles is seeking a Preplanning Counselor for Calvary Santa Barbara to handle preneed sales and client relations. This full‑time, non‑exempt role involves guiding patron families, presenting at local sites, and coordinating with parish priests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active member of a Roman Catholic faith community.
• Previous preplanning sales experience or at least 1-year sales related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License, good driving record and automobile insurance.
• Ability to travel to local sites for meetings and appointments to make presentations in client homes.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals and objectives in relation to preneed transactions at Archdiocesan Cemeteries and Mortuaries.
• Sell cemetery and mortuary products and services per sales objectives; transactions are preneed only.
• Complete contracts and documents for sales and customer service per Archdiocese policies.
• Provide patron services and assist client families as needed.
• Develop sales leads through personal contacts, phone solicitations, and parish outreach programs.
