YWCA of Metropolitan St. Louis seeks a dedicated Prenatal Home Visitor with doula certification to support enrolled expectant families. You will recruit eligible women, provide orientation and postpartum care, and help families access medical homes, insurance, and prenatal services.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma required.
• Doula Certification required.
• Willingness to obtain a CDA credential in Infant/Toddler or Home Visitor settings with experience.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit and enroll eligibleexpectant women using electronic family records.
• Provide orientation, pre- and postpartum assessments and culturally competent goal setting.
• Assist families in obtaining a medical home, insurance, prenatal care, dental care and well-baby visits.
• Provide prenatal education on fetal development, breastfeeding benefits, and risks of smoking/alcohol.
• Develop links with family support agencies to improve service delivery.
• Lead socialization activities for pregnant women and families enrolled in the program.
• Collaborate with Prenatal Service Manager and staff to deliver comprehensive services.
• Provide Early Head Start Home-Based services as needed and meet Head Start requirements.
• Act as liaison between community organizations and Head Start consultants for postpartum care.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and stay updated on infant health trends; perform other duties.
