Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Health Science or equivalent required.
• At least one undergraduate genetics course preferred.
• Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office required.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist genetic counselors with patient intake, counseling and documentation.
• Review incoming lab reports and disseminate results to GC teams.
• Coordinate genetic testing logistics and specimen transport.
• Prepare for patient appointments by gathering records and pedigrees.
• Create letters and notes for insurance authorization and visit summaries.
• Provide general office support and calendar management.
