Job summary

dsm-firmenich is hiring a Production Operator for the 2nd shift in Tonganoxie, KS. The role operates production equipment according to safety, health, and quality standards and supports premix production.

You will handle materials, perform sampling, and assist with maintenance tasks as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma and at least 6 months of production experience; proficiency with MS Office and forklift operation is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months production experience preferred (Premix, Nutritional supplements manufacturing or GMP related).
• Ability to operate computers and MS Office tools (Word, Excel).
• Forklift experience preferred; sit-down or stand-up; electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Handle raw materials and transport to intake stations; load materials into process equipment.
• Monitor packaging systems and troubleshoot as needed; print labels and complete final packaging.
• Record process conditions, monitor parameters and report disturbances to supervisor.
• Take material samples and analyze them; participate in maintenance tasks for continuous operation.
