Job summary

Trinity Health’s FirstChoice program is seeking licensed RNs for mobile staffing assignments in Michigan and beyond. You will float across units and locations, applying nursing processes, and delivering patient-centered care with autonomy within your scope.

The role emphasizes premium pay, flexible scheduling, travel/per diem opportunities, and ongoing learning. Requires RN licensure and relevant clinical experience; multiple certifications are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, ED and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials required per specialty area (ACLS, TNCC, etc); BLS/ACLS/PALS through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Apply professional practice elements: Assess, Outcomes Identification, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license, scope of knowledge and experience.
• Maintain accountability for delegation, choices, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement.
• Be adaptable and willing to take on new responsibilities.
