Job summary

Ellwood Quality Steels (premium products quality management) seeks a qualified manager to maintain the EQS quality system and external certifications for premium vacuum-induction melted products. The role oversees QA/QC processes, audits, and test report sign-offs, with leadership over QA personnel.

Requirements include a technical BS, 5+ years in metals QA/QC (VAR/ESR), and travel as needed. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS in a technical field is required.
• Minimum five (5) years QA/QC experience in metals manufacturing (VAR/ESR).
• Active and valid driver’s license or ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the EQS quality system for premium products and external quality certifications.
• Maintain the quality assurance manual for premium products.
• Lead internal/external audits and corrective actions; review/c sign certified test reports.
• Supervise Quality Assurance personnel for premium products; ensure QMS compliance.
• Travel locally, nationally, and internationally as required.
