Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Richmond, VA is seeking a Team Member to support the Prepared Foods department with preparation, counter service, stocking, and sanitation, ensuring a friendly, efficient experience for customers and fellow Team Members. You will cut, prepare, and serve hot and cold foods, sample products, merchandise displays, and help maintain freshness and safety according to health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks cases and displays with prepared foods and rotates for freshness.
• Checks in-stock product dates and performs rotations.
• Assists with inventory and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Provides excellent customer service and suggests products.
• Maintains signs and pricing accuracy; follows health and sanitation procedures.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Reports safety hazards and policy violations promptly.
