The role emphasizes product knowledge, inventory strategy, and coaching team members to achieve excellence in quality, service, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in meat retail, butcher shop, grocery, or food service environments.
• Strong knowledge of meat cutting, product sourcing, portion control, and food safety standards.
• Leadership and team development experience.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in refrigerated environments for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Meat department, including cutting, packaging, merchandising, and service.
• Ensure all meat products meet freshness, quality, and presentation standards.
• Maintain accurate labeling, pricing, and signage on products.
• Monitor case displays for a full, clean presentation and assist with promotions.
