Job summary

Austin Wood Recycling is seeking a Yard Equipment Operator in Humble, TX 77346 to operate track loaders, wheel loaders, excavators and grinders used in land clearing and mulch production. The role requires safe, professional operation at all times and adherence to all safety policies.

Candidate should be able to perform inspections, complete daily service tasks, and document inspections and work orders. Overtime and full-time hours are expected, with a focus on reliability and safety in outdoor

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong safety awareness and PPE compliance.
• Ability to operate and maneuver heavy equipment with precision.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post service inspections on equipment.
• Safely operate track loaders, wheel loaders, excavators, and grinders on job sites or yards.
• Complete daily equipment service including radiator/filters cleaning and cab interior cleaning.
• Submit daily inspections, work orders, and loader logs.
• Report accidents or injuries; follow SOPs and safety procedures.
