NEIS, LLC, a leader in insurance audit and loss control since 1945, is seeking a Premium Auditor to join our growing team.

The Premium Auditor examines the financial records of businesses insured by commercial property and casualty insurers to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. The role involves looking for evidence of fraud and verifying adherence to regulatory standards. This position is remote, with daily travel to audit locations, averaging 2-4 days per week within your territory.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying manual rules and standards.
2. Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and records.
3. Create schedules to optimize time management.
4. Communicate with insured parties via phone, email, and mail to set up appointments.
5. Examine records, gather data, and determine correct classifications for business activities, including writing operational descriptions.
6. Complete audit documentation, explain results to insured clients, and report findings to the home office.
7. Travel to multiple audit locations regularly.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent, plus two years of premium audit experience or similar qualifications.
• Ability to analyze financial documents.
• Proficiency with PC applications like Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with customers and staff.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
