Position Title: Premium In-Seat Cook

Pay Range: $22/hr

Event based Schedule: MLB Season

Join the Premium In-Seats team at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and be part of an energetic, fast-paced environment where every day brings new opportunities to create exceptional dining experiences. As a Cook, you’ll prepare high-quality meals for a variety of events, contributing to memorable moments for fans and guests.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including chopping vegetables, cooking proteins, and measuring spices.
  2. Prepare basic food items including hot dogs, pretzels, and other stadium fare according to recipes, portion guidelines, and Levy Core Signature standards.
  3. Prepare ingredients by portioning, assembling, and heating/cooking items as needed.
  4. Assist in cooking hot and cold foods according to Core signatures and recipes.
  5. Work closely with Culinary team to execute event-specific menu items, ensuring food is cooked according to recipes, standards, event specifications, and Levy Core Signature standards.
  6. Complete daily production worksheets, ensuring accurate waste logs and inventory.
  7. Operate and clean kitchen equipment, ensuring adherence to proper handling and safety procedures.
  8. Ensure food items are properly stored, labeled, and dated according to standards, following food safety guidelines.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work station, including sinks, counters, and cooking equipment.
  10. Follow established safety standards for food handling, cooking, and storage.
  11. Work with Kitchen & In-Seats team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
  12. Assist with all event types including catering, department specific products, game day events.
  13. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience in food preparation or culinary arts, large-volume kitchen experience preferred.
  2. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, knife skills, and kitchen operations.
  3. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and HACCP guidelines.
  5. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  6. This position may require the following valid certifications; ServSafe Food Certification, Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
  7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ascend and descend stairs.
  2. Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment.
  3. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  4. Manual dexterity and coordination to perform tasks such as chopping, cutting, and food preparation.
  5. Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.
