Job summary

Carver Road Hospitality is hiring a Food Runner for its NY venue. The Food Runner sets up trays, delivers courses from the kitchen, and describes dishes to guests to enhance the dining experience.

Ideal candidates have previous hospitality experience in high-volume settings, can stand and lift for extended periods, and are flexible to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and growth opportunities are offered within a premium hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience in high-volume restaurant/lounge.
• Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Polish utensils, steak knives, and plates; restock runner and kitchen stations.
• Deliver food timely; describe dishes to guests.
• Check allergies and dietary restrictions with guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and setup of runner station and venue.
• Communicate guest needs to FOH and BOH staff; attend pre-service meetings.
• Participate in staff training and contribute to teamwork.
