High Country Fireplaces in Statesville, NC is seeking a detail-oriented Fireplace Installer / Field Technician. You will install premium hearth products in customers' spaces and ensure top-quality workmanship in a hands-on, on-site role.

Ideal candidates have carpentry or related trades experience, comfort with heights and ladders, and a clean driving record. You will collaborate with homeowners and builders, follow safety standards, and troubleshoot field challenges to deliver exceptional

Qualifications

Comfortable with heights and ladders.
Proven experience in carpentry, construction, HVAC, roofing, or a related mechanical trade.
Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, ladders, and operating safely at various heights.
Strong attention to detail to ensure proper framing, venting, and finish work.
Work with a high level of urgency, reliability, and initiative.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills when collaborating with the warehouse and clients.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

Complete safe, high-quality installations of fireplaces, stoves, inserts, and venting systems.
Review staging materials and inventory daily to ensure all necessary tools and components are ready for the field.
Follow safety guidelines and manufacturer installation standards for gas, wood, and electric appliances.
Communicate professionally with builders and homeowners on-site to explain operation and ensure customer satisfaction.
Troubleshoot and problem-solve field adjustments safely and efficiently.
