NEIS is seeking Premium Auditors

As we continue to grow, NEIS is looking for Premium Auditors to examine the financial records of insurance companies, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, detecting fraud, and verifying adherence to standards.

This role is primarily remote, with required travel to audit locations, averaging 2-4 days per week within your territory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying manual rules and standards.
• Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and records.
• Create schedules to optimize time management.
• Coordinate with insured clients via phone, email, and mail to set up appointments.
• Examine records, determine correct classifications, and describe operations.
• Complete audit documentation, explain results to clients, and communicate findings to the home office.
• Travel to multiple audit locations regularly.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent, with two years of premium auditing experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret financial documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
