Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice at Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida is hiring a seasonal Cook to help prepare guest orders and work with the serving team in a fast-paced stadium kitchen.

This role requires at least 1 year in back-of-house food service, ability to read prep sheets and recipes, and basic math skills for portions. The job includes evenings, weekends, and events with weekly pay and benefits available to eligible team members.

• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained, food is stored correctly, the freshness and quality of all menu items are maintained, and all products are to proper specifications.
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory.
