Job summary

Compass Group USA at the Delta Center is seeking a Group Sales Server to join the Premium team during Utah Mammoth & Utah Jazz events. You will greet guests, take beverage orders, upsell bar offerings, and ensure timely, professional service in a premium club space.

Candidates should be 21+, have hospitality or customer-service experience, and be able to stand for long periods; Utah food handler and alcohol certificates required. Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous server, hospitality, restaurant, bar, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah Food Handler Permit.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service.
• Take accurate beverage orders and communicate orders clearly to bar staff.
• Serve orders promptly, safely, and professionally.
• Check on guests throughout service to ensure satisfaction.
• Make sales and upsell bar beverages when appropriate.
• Collaborate with bartenders, bussers, line attendants, managers, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all Levy, Delta Center, food-safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol-service, and workplace-safety standards.
