Job summary

Swagel Wootton Eye Institute in the Phoenix East Valley is seeking a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist and Cataract Surgeon to join our established practice. You will build a busy comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery practice within our patient/referral network.

Join a team with modern tech, an ambulatory surgery center, and a focus on premium lens technology, patient-centered care, and ongoing clinical development in Arizona.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
2–5+ years of cataract surgery experience preferred.
Experience with premium lens technology and refractive cataract techniques.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Develop a busy comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery practice within an established patient and referral network.
Perform cataract surgery using modern techniques and a broad portfolio of premium IOL technologies.
Collaborate with experienced ophthalmologists and clinical teams to guide patients from evaluation through postoperative care.
Contribute to growth and development of Swagel Wootton Eye Institute in the Phoenix East Valley.
