Swagel Wootton Eye Institute in Phoenix East Valley is seeking a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist and Cataract Surgeon to join our established eye care team. This role focuses on comprehensive ophthalmology with a strong interest in cataract surgery and premium IOL technology.

You will develop a busy practice within an existing referral network, perform cataract surgery with advanced techniques, and work closely with a trained clinical team to guide patients from evaluation to postoperative care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Demonstrated proficiency with premium lens technology and refractive cataract techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Experience with cataract surgery preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop a busy comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery practice within an established patient and referral network.
• Perform cataract surgery using contemporary techniques and premium IOL technologies.
• Collaborate with a skilled clinical team from initial evaluation through postoperative care.
• Coordinate patient education and the surgical journey with counselors.
• Contribute to growth of a well-established Arizona eye care organization.
