Job summary

Mobis North America in Michigan seeks an Automotive Audio Systems Engineer to design, develop, integrate, tune, and validate premium in-vehicle audio systems.

You will work with vehicle manufacturers, acoustics specialists, software engineers, and product teams to meet sound performance, cost, timing, and quality goals. Travel to customer sites will be required; 45-hour week with flexible start times.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in automotive audio, acoustics, or speaker development.
• Knowledge of loudspeaker design and DSP algorithms.
• Experience with audio measurement and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate automotive audio systems (amplifiers, speakers, DSP).
• Perform vehicle audio tuning and sound optimization.
• Conduct acoustic measurements and analysis.
• Support OEM vehicle programs from concept to launch.
• Interface with OEMs and suppliers for technical discussions.
