Job summary

ICW Group is hiring for a Premium Billing role in an office environment. You will perform routine premium billing activities, assist with account tasks, and provide excellent customer service aligned with company standards.

The position emphasizes processing billings, using multiple billing systems, and responding to inquiries from agents and policyholders while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of basic math and accounting concepts is required.
  • Working knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word preferred.
  • Ability to understand and carry out simple instructions in standard situations.
  • Must be Customer service oriented with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively present information to policyholders, agents, and internal parties.

Responsibilities

  • Process premium billings.
  • Produce accurate and timely billings in several billing applications.
  • Process interim, revised interim, finals, and revised final billings.
  • Calculate audit billings manually when necessary for accuracy.
  • Provides premium billing services to customers.
  • Reviews and responds to emails received by department group email account.
  • Provides research on payroll reporting status, payments, cancellation/reinstatement status etc.
  • Handles customers calls from agents and policyholders.
  • Assists with reporting payroll and processing payments.
  • References several systems to research policy information.
  • Updates email contact and coordinates address changes.
  • Performs departmental administrative tasks.
  • Process letters, emails, and other items as requested.
  • Process cancellations and reinstatements notices as required.
  • Manage data entry input in several applications making sure they are current and accurate.

PURPOSE OF JOB

The purpose of this job is to perform routine Premium Billing activities. This position exists to assist the Premium Billing department with account activities while providing excellent customer service in line with Company Standards.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required. Associate’s degree preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience in an office environment in customer service and/or accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

None required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position operates in an office environment and requires the frequent use of a computer, telephone, copier, and other standard office equipment.

The current range for this position is $19.58 - $30.88 This range is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at ICW Group, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors unique to each candidate, including experience, education and the location of the role and considers employees performing substantially similar work.
