Job summary

33 Taps is seeking a Bartender to ensure consistent drink quality and fast, friendly service in Hollywood, CA. You will prepare drinks per recipes, greet guests, handle orders, and keep the bar stocked while maintaining a clean, safe work area in a high-volume setting.

Requirements include 21+ age, a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of full-service bar experience, strong beer and cocktail knowledge, and excellent cash handling and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Obtain any necessary alcohol service licensing requirements.
• Minimum of 2 year of experience operating a full service bar.
• Strong knowledge of beer, alcohol mixology, drink menus and classic cocktail preparation.
• Ability to stand on feet for an extended period of time.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with strong ability to interact with guests.
• Verbal communication skills, and accurate math and cash handling skills.
• Must be able to lift and carry boxes up to 55lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Verify guests that purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age.
• Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items and be able to make recommendations.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner at the bar and lounge area.
• Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames.
• Consistently use suggestive selling techniques.
• Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only.
• Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar.
