Job summary

Hunter International, Inc. is hiring Banquet Servers for a Mt. Pleasant, MI event on Thursday, Sept 17 (3:00 PM–6:00 PM) and Friday, Sept 18 (12:00 PM–1:00 AM or until finish). Staff arrive Friday morning for setup and run-throughs; pay is $18.00/hour.

You will set tables, greet guests, serve food and beverages, clear and reset tables, and help with breakdown while delivering professional, friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Previous banquet, catering, restaurant, or serving experience preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Professional and friendly attitude
Reliable and dependable
Able to stand and remain active for extended periods
Able to carry trays and assist with event setup
Must be available for both event dates
Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Assist with event setup before guests arrive
Set tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and other banquet items
Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
Serve food and beverages to guests
Clear and reset tables as needed
Maintain clean and organized dining and event areas
Assist with event breakdown and cleanup
Follow instructions from event supervisors and team leads
Provide professional and attentive service throughout the event
Help ensure the event runs smoothly and efficiently
