Job summary

Hunter International, Inc. is hiring Banquet Servers for a Mt. Pleasant, MI event on Thursday, Sept 17 (3:00 PM–6:00 PM) and Friday, Sept 18 (12:00 PM–1:00 AM or until finish). Staff arrive Friday morning for setup and run-throughs; pay is $18.00/hour.

You will set tables, greet guests, serve food and beverages, clear and reset tables, and help with breakdown while delivering professional, friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, catering, restaurant, or serving experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional and friendly attitude
• Reliable and dependable
• Able to stand and remain active for extended periods
• Able to carry trays and assist with event setup
• Must be available for both event dates
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup before guests arrive
• Set tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and other banquet items
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Serve food and beverages to guests
• Clear and reset tables as needed
• Maintain clean and organized dining and event areas
• Assist with event breakdown and cleanup
• Follow instructions from event supervisors and team leads
• Provide professional and attentive service throughout the event
• Help ensure the event runs smoothly and efficiently

We’re looking for professional, dependable, and energetic Banquet Servers to join our event team in Mt. Pleasant, MI!

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people, providing excellent service, and being part of a fast-paced event environment.

PAY & SCHEDULE

Location: Mt. Pleasant, MI

Dates: Thursday, September 17 & Friday, September 18

Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Friday: 12:00 PM – 1:00 AM or until the event is finished

Event Start: 6:00 PM Friday

Important: Staff will arrive early Friday for setup and run-throughs

Pay: $18.00/hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Banquet Server, you will help provide an excellent guest experience while supporting the event from setup through cleanup.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check & drug screen
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be available September 17 & 18
• Must be flexible with the Friday end time, as the shift may continue until the event is finished
