Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover Birmingham, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, seeks an Automotive Technician to join our heated and air-conditioned shop. We offer top pay, a longevity bonus, and opportunities to work with premium luxury brands in a high-volume environment.

We provide extensive training and benefits. Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, pass pre-employment testing (background checks, MVR, drug test) and be authorized to work in the USA.

Qualifications

• ASE or manufacturing training required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA and pass pre-employment tests.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and assign to technicians.
• Perform repairs as outlined to dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair them.
• Communicate with parts department for parts.
• Document work performed and test drive when needed.
• Supervise apprentices and participate in training.
