Julius C Howe Asphalt & Sealing Co. is seeking an Asphalt Laborer to drive the execution of premium paving, grading, and asphalt modification projects across commercial and residential locations.

This role offers field autonomy to master heavy civil construction workflows while using specialized machinery within a close-knit, highly technical crew. You will contribute to infrastructure longevity and community safety, with opportunities for rapid career advancement through hands-on work on site,

Qualifications

• Active and valid driver's license required.
• Physically capable of demanding construction labor and standing for long periods.
• Able to perform outdoors in high-temperature field conditions.
• Strong listening skills to interpret technical field instructions.
• Reliable with meticulous attention to structural details.

Responsibilities

• Assist in technical phases of commercial hot-mix asphalt paving, milling, and patching repairs.
• Shovel, rake, and smooth asphalt mixtures with high precision for a uniform finish.
• Operate pavement installation tools and small field equipment according to standards.
• Load, unload, and stage materials and safety equipment across active jobsites.
• Maintain an organized job site layout to reduce hazards and optimize workflow.
• Collaborate with paving crew to meet production targets and timelines.
• Follow strict safety guidelines and wear corporate PPE.
