Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Retail Sales Specialist for the appliances department to learn customer needs, provide excellent service, demonstrate products, and guide purchases. You will train others and stay updated on kitchen and laundry appliance specs and benefits.

Responsibilities include engaging customers, completing transactions, meeting sales goals, handling inquiries, and maintaining merchandised departments. Prior experience in premium products and CRM is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience building complex solutions in sales or customer service.
• 1 year experience selling premium products or luxury brands.
• 1 year CRM experience.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in the appliances department to support the customer experience, complete transactions, drive profitable growth and achieve sales goals
• Stay informed about the latest technology trends and products through continuous learning and professional development
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and returns professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Prioritize activities based on urgency and importance, set realistic deadlines and use tools and techniques to manage time effectively
• Maintain department merchandising and readiness to serve customers
• Train other sales floor personnel on how to be successful in the department
