Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Billing Specialist to perform routine and complex accounting functions focused on GSI and individual disability insurance premium applications and billing services. The role handles payment processing, reconciliation, and customer communication across multiple systems. Qualifications include 2+ years in medical/insurance billing, strong accounting knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Working hours follow a 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST schedule.

Responsibilities

• Input and reconcile premium payments in ID3 system.
• Research and process accounting transactions and adjustments.
• Manage wire transfers, cash clearing, and inter-company payments.
• Communicate with policy owners, brokers, MGAs, and internal teams.
• Maintain billing documentation and support financial reporting compliance.

The position focuses on Guaranteed Standard Issue (GSI) and individual disability insurance premium application and billing services, including payment processing, reconciliation, and customer communication.
