Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services U.S. is seeking a Premier Tactical Security Guard in the Salinas/San Jose area. The role offers a full-time schedule with varied shifts, including weekend hours, and a competitive hourly wage of $34 depending on site.

Qualifications

• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32hr BSIS trainings.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; 21+ years old.
• Minimum five years of security experience; baton/OC spray/handcuff permits required.

Responsibilities

• Observe, survey the area and report activity at assigned location.
• Work indoors and outdoors in variable environments.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed incident reports.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity and deter threats.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and detain/search when needed.
• Document incidents and actions taken; respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week
  • Friday / Saturday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (San Jose). Sunday - Tuesday, 5:30pm - 2:00am (Salinas)

QualificationsofPremier Tactical Security Guard - Now Hiring!

• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card)and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings. (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Be able to provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have at least five years of security experience!
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Must have baton permit
• Must have OC spray permit
• Must have handcuff permit
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
