Job summary

Premier System Wide is seeking a System Float Registered Nurse to support Medical-Surgical/Advanced Care across Northern or Southern regions. The RN will float to acuity-specific units, providing patient-centered care and advocating for patients and families.

Duties include applying the nursing process, working within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Shift is full-time, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with 72 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Ohio RN license.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current CPR certification at time of hire.
• 1–3 years of related experience in acute care.
• Acuity-specific experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care in Medical-Surgical/Advanced Care units.
• Advocate for patients and families to support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
• Utilize the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and adhere to Ohio Nurse Practice Act and Nursing Code of Ethics.
• Float to acuity-specific units to cover staffing shortages.
