Job summary

Roberts Hawaii is seeking a School Bus SPED Driver to transport students safely from pickup sites to their destination, ensuring timely service and vehicle readiness. You will perform daily pre- and post-checks, maintain cleanliness, follow uniform and safety rules, and communicate with the office and parents to coordinate routes.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Hawaii driver’s license, DOT physical, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to pass background

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Hawaii driver’s license or higher.
• DOT physical required.
• First Aid and CPR certified.
• Ability to pass background checks and state/federal clearances.
• Must meet FMCSA/DOT/DOT regulations and Title 19 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with the office and sign in for AM/PM shifts.
• Perform daily pre-checks and post-checks of the bus.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness: wash weekly, detailing monthly.
• Follow uniform and safety rules; wear company ID.
• Set up routes and pick-up times with parents and schools.
• Complete reporting forms for incidents and regulatory requirements.
