Job summary

Roberts Hawaii is seeking a Driver in Hawaii to provide safe, prompt transportation to customers. You will operate buses and vehicles with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service, starting with a welcome of “Aloha” to passengers.

The role requires knowledge of DOT regulations, pre-trip inspections, fueling and vehicle washing, and reporting to Dispatch. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is offered with hourly pay up to $28.50.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local streets and hotel locations.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English.
• Knowledge of DOT documentation and eligibility requirements.
• Proven customer service orientation and professional conduct.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain DOT documents and ensure they remain current.
• Perform duties of a Driver with professionalism and courtesy; greet customers with Aloha.
• Complete a thorough pre-trip vehicle inspection and Driver’s Inspection Report.
• Fuel, clean, and maintain company equipment as needed.
• Notify Dispatch of route/schedule changes and seek approval for deviations.
• Assist passengers with special needs and manage luggage/loading as required.
• Complete trip sheets and required paperwork after each movement.
