Job summary

Cameron Mitchell Premier Events in Columbus, OH, is seeking an Event Coordinator to join our team! You will serve as on-site client contact and execute events according to timelines laid out by the Sales Team, with evening and weekend hours required. Starting at $22/hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of catering, venue, or restaurant experience.
• Excellent team development and leadership skills.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Uphold company culture and philosophy
• Follow proper timekeeping policies and procedures and clock in and out all hourly associates on events
• Act as liaison between client and Cameron Mitchell Premier Events in absence of Sales Team Member on Events
• Pit stop at each event with staff to discuss current events and event details
• Perimeter Checks and Line Checks
• Ensure proper event execution, service, and safety standards per company standards
• On-site supervision of CMPE staff and ensure proper behavior during the event
• Troubleshoot issues that may arise during an event
• Proper opening and closing procedures on all events (on premise or off premise)
• Create detailed load lists for events to ensure accurate preparation, packing, and onsite setup
• Create staff notes and chef notes
• Engage in client correspondence via phone and email to support a smooth transition into event execution
• Attend walkthroughs as needed based on sales team needs
• Planning execution with the Sales Team Members
• Special projects as needed
• Additional duties as necessary
