Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia seeks an experienced anesthesiologist for Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in the Richmond, VA area.

The practice delivers anesthesia services for over 44,000 cases annually and consists of 25 physicians and over 70 CRNAs across two Richmond hospitals. The role requires an MD/DO, ECFMG/FLEX, and completion of an approved residency in anesthesia, with current medical licensure.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ECFMG and FLEX certification.
• Completion of an approved Residency in Anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient physiological status and perform necessary interventions.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
