Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee safety, training, development, and workgroup performance.

The role focuses on maintaining high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. The successful candidate will develop and manage relationships with staff, management, and customers, facilitate training, and ensure compliance with department, station, corporate, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kg.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, develops, and leads workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization and safety.
• Fosters positive, proactive communication and inter-departmental cooperation.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed in compliance with all requirements.
• Facilitates orientation, training, evaluations, and coaching for department personnel.
• Maintains relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Allocates department resources to maximize output and efficiency.
