Job summary

UPS is seeking a capable supervisor to lead and develop a warehouse workgroup. You will oversee safety, productive output, and attendance while fostering teamwork and clear, proactive communication with staff and management.

You will establish training programs, monitor compliance with safety policies, and optimize resources to improve efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse setting. ABachelor's degree is preferred and flexible shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
• Implements employee personal development plans to ensure ongoing professional growth of department personnel.
• Ensures all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
