Grapevine-Colleyville ISD's Grapevine Elementary is seeking a dedicated PreK teacher. You will provide engaging, standards-aligned instruction to young learners and support their intellectual, emotional, and social growth in a welcoming classroom.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, a valid Texas teaching certificate, and demonstrated competency in the core subject area. You will collaborate with staff, communicate with families, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• Knowledge of core academic subject, curriculum, and instruction.
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum.
• Plan lessons with accommodations for different learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Use varied instructional strategies and materials to address learning needs.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers as assigned.
• Communicate with parents and participate in staff meetings.
