Responsibilities

Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
Uses the TEKS as instructional objectives to plan teaching and to achieve TAKS objectives.
Assists in administering the State Assessments and signs oaths to ensure test integrity.
Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law and policy.
Establishes clear objectives for all lessons and communicates them to students.
Maintains order in the classroom and supports student life and conduct policies.
