Early Learning Indiana is hiring Teachers to support developmentally appropriate lessons using Creative Curriculum and ToTaL, collaborating with Classroom Support Professionals. An active CDA credential or an Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education is required.

We seek candidates who can lead a classroom with 1+ years of experience, while 2+ years with young children is preferred, and who can build warm, responsive relationships with children and families, maintaining a safe

• 1+ years of experience leading an early childhood classroom; 2+ years working with young children preferred.
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or higher is preferred to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate developmentally-appropriate individual and group lesson plans powered by Creative Curriculum structured by our Theory of Teaching and Learning (ToTaL)
• Collaborate with Classroom Support Professionals to bring lesson plans to life through engaging and inclusive play-based learning approaches
• Complete child development observations via Teaching Strategies
• Establish warm and responsive relationships that allow each child to feel recognized, acknowledged and secure
• Maintain a healthy, safe and clean environment and ensure all state licensing rules and regulations are adhered to
• Develop trusted relationships with families by communicating on a regular and ongoing basis to relay information about each child's day

What do I need?

• A passion for early childhood education and knowledge of developmental best practices
• Be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the children and center
• Be able to build and nurture relationships with children and adults
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or higher preferred
  • Child Development Associates (CDA) or equivalent required
• 1+ years of experience leading an early childhood classroom preferred
  • 2+ years of working with young children required

Our centers are open year round Monday-Friday. Full-time positions are nine hours shifts with a one hour lunch break. Part-Time positions can offer more flexible scheduling.
