Job summary

Champaign County Regional Planning Commission in Champaign County is seeking a dedicated PreK Teacher to manage the classroom and deliver a developmentally appropriate educational program aligned with Illinois Early Learning Standards.

This role requires successful completion of a DCFS background check and holding the Illinois EC PEL license; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and experience with preschoolers is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to fulfill all DCFS requirements, including a physical and criminal background check.
• Illinois Early Childhood Professional Educator License (EC PEL) required.
• Experience with preschool children preferred.

Champaign County Regional Planning Commission is seeking a PreK Teacher

to join our team providing services in Champaign County. Champaign

succeed on their own, and RPC is doing that work. From analysis to

policy guidance to offering services to our communities, RPC\'s people

plan for people. The PreK Teacher is responsible for managing the

classroom and carrying out a developmentally appropriate educational

program to meet the individual needs of each child and Illinois Early

Learning Standards. An important role of the PreK Teacher is to provide

leadership for our students and by creating a positive learning

environment where Head Start children gain the skills, knowledge, and

attitudes that lead to future school success. Our organization requires

that the PreK Teachers ensure a supportive and welcoming environment

every day and fosters a sense of safety for staff, families, and

children. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to fulfill all DCFS
