Champaign County Regional Planning Commission is seeking Early Childhood Education Teachers to join our team in Urbana, IL. The role involves managing the classroom and carrying out a developmentally appropriate educational program aligned with Illinois Early Learning Standards.

The position is full-time, school-year, 41 weeks with hours 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Starting hourly wage ranges from $31.42 to $34.00 based on qualifications.

Qualificações

• Ability to fulfill all DCFS requirements, including a physical and criminal background check.
• Illinois Early Childhood Professional Educator License (EC PEL).
• Experience with preschool children preferred.
• Ability to lift children.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Ability to practice civility at all times.

Responsible for managing the classroom and carrying out a developmentally appropriate educational program to meet the individual needs of each child and Illinois Early Learning Standards. The Pre-K teacher position is contingent on Illinois Early Childhood Block Grant funding.
