Job summary

Soliant Health in Hollister, CA seeks a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for PreK, with an immediate start through the end of the school year. The role involves in-person speech therapy within a supportive educational community to promote early communication skills.

You will assess, plan targeted therapy, and collaborate with teachers and families, while documenting progress and contributing to eligibility meetings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for SLP credential.
• Experience with early childhood or PreK caseloads.
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized support.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic school setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for PreK students.
• Develop and implement targeted therapy plans that address individual goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists for comprehensive student support.
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in eligibility meetings.
• Provide direct, in-person interventions in classroom and small group settings.
• Consult and educate staff and caregivers on strategies to generalize communication skills.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and review.
