Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development and early childhood programming.
• Ability to deliver professional development for teachers and coach peers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual/biliterate preferred.

Responsibilities

• A. Plan and deliver instruction aligned with district goals and programs; create effective lesson plans and maximize time on task.
• B. Support curriculum revision and selection of instructional materials; assist in utilizing supplemental services.
• C. Establish classroom rules, ensure safety, supervise students, and coordinate coverage as needed.
• D. Communicate with parents and the public; uphold board policies and maintain professional relationships.
• E. Pursue ongoing professional growth through workshops and coursework; participate in inservice training.
• F. Evaluate student progress using multiple assessments and adjust instruction accordingly.
