Springdale Elementary in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, is seeking a Special Education - PreK Integrated Educational Assistant to support classroom goals under the Special Ed teacher's supervision. The EA will follow IEP goals and district EA guidelines as part of the PreK integrated program.

The position is 180 days, full-time, with a 7.5-hour day schedule, and includes benefits. Starting date is to be determined; pay is based on education and experience with defined Grade pay scales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Post-secondary education is preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Work under the directive of the Special Ed teacher to which he/she is assigned and follow IEP goals and EA guidelines.
• This is a 180-day position with 7.5 hours per day, starting before students arrive and leaving after students have been dismissed.
