Job summary

IEP Development; Management: Serving as a case manager for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), which includes conducting screenings, drafting goals, and monitoring progress.

Specialized Instruction: Implementing the Creative Curriculum or other state-approved frameworks to teach basic skills needed in the areas of cognition, adaptive, social/emotional, motor, and communication.

Inclusive Environments: Designing programs that allow students to be educated in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), often alongside typically developing peers.

Behavior; Social Support: Using techniques like behavior modification and positive reinforcement to help children manage social-emotional challenges.

Collaboration: Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, families and paraprofessionals.
