Job summary

Right At School is seeking a PreK Group Teacher to join our before/after‑school program in New York. You will plan and lead daily activities, ensuring age‑appropriate curriculum and a safe, engaging environment.

Ideal candidates bring an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA, with the ability to lift 25 lbs and collaborate with families, staff, and school personnel. The role operates Monday–Friday with split shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
• CDA credential and at least 1 year experience with children under 5 preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and maintain a safe, engaging classroom.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities and curriculum aligned to program goals.
• Review goals in daily program meetings and encourage collaboration.
• Provide safe, nurturing environment with positive guidance.
• Monitor safety, attendance and incidents per protocols.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel.
