Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a skilled scientist to lead preformulation and analytical development for early discovery programs. You will design phase-appropriate methods (HPLC, LC-MS) and assess developability across preclinical and clinical candidates in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and experience with regulatory submissions and technical reports. A PhD/MS with relevant pharma experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 4+ years in pharma labs
• MS/MA degree plus 2+ years in similar field
• PhD in Chemistry or related field with relevant experience; postdoc acceptable

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across Research, Preclinical & Clinical Pharmacology to share developability data
• Design and develop analytical methods for early pharma development
• Lead or contribute to developability assessments and formulation studies
• Review technical documentation and regulatory submissions
