Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a full-time Pre-Fabrication Helper/Welder. The role involves welding, installations, and repair of electrical systems in the commercial sector, with emphasis on pipe work, fabrication drawings, and safety compliance.

Candidates should have welding experience, the ability to read blueprints, and high school graduation. OSHA-10 or the ability to obtain is required; travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required in commercial electrical work.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Experience bending pipe and running conduit preferred.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Installations, welding, alterations and repairs of electrical systems and equipment in the Pre-Fab Shop.
• Measure, lay out, hang, thread pipe and solder/braze piping.
• Work from ladders and comply with safety policies.
• Maintain inventory and update material statuses with supervisors.
• Assist Project Managers and estimators with material orders; travel may be required.
