Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Lithia Springs, GA seeks a full-time Pre-Fabrication Electrician to install, alter, add, and repair electrical systems in the commercial construction industry.

You will measure, lay out, hang pipe, and set mechanical equipment while following safety policies. Applicants should have 4+ years of related commercial electrical experience, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with MS Office for data entry and material tracking.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial electrical experience.
• Experience reading fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient with MS Office for data entry and tracking materials.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain; background and MVR checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, alterations, additions and repairs of electrical systems in commercial construction.
• Measure, layout, hang, thread pipe, and set mechanical equipment.
• Work from ladders and maintain safety protocols.
• Maintain Master Inventory List and inform project staff of material statuses.
• Travel may be required.

Job Summary

• Works in Pre-Fab Shop performing installations, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the commercial electrical construction industry
• Measure, layout, hang, thread pipe, and set mechanical equipment
• Works from all types of ladders
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Maintains Master Inventory List of all materials inbound and outbound and keeps shop supervisor apprised of inventory levels per respective assignments
• Advises Project Managers, Superintendents, Service Technicians, and Estimators of material order statuses
• Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years recent related commercial electrical experience or equivalent education
• Experience reading fabrication drawings and blueprints
• Demonstrated knowledge of computers and MS Office for the purpose of entering data and tracking materials
• Experience bending pipe and running various types of conduit preferred
• High School Diploma/GED
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
