Job summary

The Shop Specialist at Tuff Shed trains Prefab team members and ensures all work meets quality, productivity, and safety standards. They provide direction for new hires and oversee certification and mentoring to uphold company standards.

Key duties include assisting the Production Foreman to maintain a safe, clean workspace, administering forklift certification, verifying components, and ensuring lines are stocked and ready for the next shift.

Qualifications

• Certified on all prefab stations.
• Ability to train and develop others.
• Committed to safe operations and working safely.
• Knowledge of construction practices and terminology.
• Able to read cut sheets, product drawings, and plans.
• Strong attention to detail and high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Foreman to maintain safe, clean work environment.
• Administer forklift certification training and tests.
• Mentor trainees during and after certification.
• Ensure building components are prepared properly.
• Verify PACKs are complete and accurate.
• Ensure production lines are stocked for next shift.
