Job summary

CSI SPORTS in Jersey City seeks a Producer/Video Editor to join the production team. You will craft original sports content for broadcast distribution in the U.S. and internationally, and for our digital platforms, leveraging your storytelling and editing skills with the Adobe suite.

You will edit short and longform content, write scripts, create promo spots, and ensure final pieces meet broadcast and digital specs while collaborating with teammates to achieve a unified vision.

Qualifications

• Experience producing and editing short and longform sports content using the Adobe Suite.
• Strong knowledge of digital tools with a creative eye.
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, prep & edit content for original series and live events for broadcast & digital using Adobe (Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop).
• Edit footage according to scripts, formats & production guidelines.
• Write show scripts & voice over notes.
• Create (write and edit) promo spots, documentary segments and sizzle reels utilizing appropriate music libraries and our SAN.
• Edit features for live events as well as cutdowns and highlights from Live Events.
• Deliver final productions with the required broadcast and digital specifications.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver a shared vision.
• Ensure assets are delivered without any issues and on time.
• Stay current with the latest software and AI to recommend improvements to the editing workflow.

This creator will utilize their storytelling and editing expertise to develop original content for broadcast distribution in the U.S. and internationally as well for our digital platforms.
